MY VISION OF GOVERNMENT

A more prosperous, progressive and pro-active South Cotabato.

MY MISSION

Lead the people and its officials as we all work and strive together for the fruition of our collective goals, interests and aspirations which all embody and reflect our shared quest and continuing endeavors in building a more just, humane and caring community and society where all our children could live safely and securely as they ardently pursue what they regard as rewarding, meaningful and ideal for their lives and families;

Empower further all basic sectors of society especially the greater masses of South Cotabateños comprising mainly of lowland and upland farmers, agricultural workers and planters;

Formulate and implement effectively various developmental policies and initiatives at the local level which prioritizes people-centered growth, fosters greater unity of our people amidst our cultural and political diversity and protects our province's human and natural resources;

Transform the province to take a more dynamic and active role in the socio-cultural and economic affairs of Mindanao and in the advocacy for the enactment of more reforms especially in the field of public health, environmental protection and management, agriculture, social welfare legislation, and human development.

MY GOALS AND PLATFORM OF GOVERNMENT

My platform of government is premised on three specific areas – acronym of AYP:

ACCESSIBLE HEALTHCARE:

Ø Universal Coverage of Philhealth for the South Cotabateños.

Ø Improvement of Healthcare Infrastructure Facilities and Services particularly the South Cotabato Provincial Hospital.

Ø Increase of Coverage of the Annual Operation Tuli and Dental and Eye Check-up and Expand the coverage of existing Medical Mission Programs of the Province of South Cotabato.

YOUTH TRAINING AND EDUCATION:

Ø Expand the Coverage of Existing Scholarship Programs.

Ø Construction, Repair and Improvement of School buildings and Educational Facilities

Ø Provide and Improve on the Quality of Learning Materials and Equipments to the Schools.

Ø Provide adequate training programs for teachers, students and out of school youth.

Ø Improvement of Facilities for Technical Education

Ø Support and Promote various Sports Programs as an Anti-Dangerous Drugs Campaign

PEOPLE’S PARTICIPATION:

Ø Support various People’s and Civic Organizations in the pursuance of the following advocacies:

o Environmental Concerns and Climate Change

o Livelihood Programs for Poverty Alleviation

o Peace and Order

Ø Encourage Active Participation of Citizens in Local Governance.
